These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website operated by EV Charging Installers of America ("EVCIA," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
1. Website information
The website provides general information about electrical contracting, EV charging, battery storage, solar PV, V2H/V2G, demand response, maintenance, and related services. Website content is informational and does not constitute engineering, electrical, legal, tax, financial, utility, or incentive-program advice for a particular property or project.
2. Inquiries are not contracts or estimates
Submitting a contact, site-assessment, service, or residential-estimate form does not create a contractor-client relationship, obligate EVCIA to accept a project, reserve a schedule, or constitute a binding proposal or price. Project scope, pricing, equipment, schedule, warranty, and other obligations apply only when stated in a separate written agreement accepted by the applicable parties.
3. Site conditions, equipment, and programs
Actual project requirements depend on field conditions, available electrical capacity, plans, code requirements, permitting authorities, utilities, equipment availability, manufacturer requirements, and other project-specific factors. Product compatibility, rebates, tax credits, utility programs, demand-response revenue, interconnection approval, and incentive availability may change and are not guaranteed through website content.
4. Your submissions
You are responsible for providing information you are authorized to share and that is reasonably accurate. Do not submit passwords, payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, protected health information, export-controlled material, or other highly sensitive information through website forms. You authorize EVCIA and its service providers to use submitted information to evaluate and respond to your request as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Permitted use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass security, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a manner that impairs its operation, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent requests, or use website content in a way that violates applicable law or another party's rights.
6. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website's text, graphics, branding, layout, photographs, and other original content are owned by or licensed to EVCIA and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print reasonable portions for your personal or internal business evaluation of EVCIA services. No other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use is authorized without prior written permission.
7. Third-party websites and services
The website may link to or use services operated by manufacturers, utilities, incentive administrators, form providers, or other third parties. EVCIA does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. References to third-party products or programs do not guarantee availability, eligibility, approval, or performance.
8. Website availability and disclaimers
We may update, suspend, or discontinue website content or features at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties concerning uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, completeness, or suitability for a particular project. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVCIA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website. This limitation does not alter liabilities or remedies established by a separately executed project agreement and does not apply where prohibited by law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
